QBC Trading is an import, export, and general trading business based in Lahore, Pakistan, supplying hardware products to distributors, wholesalers, trade buyers, and retail customers. This website lets you browse our catalog, create an account, place orders for cash-on-delivery or bank transfer, track an order, and reach us with enquiries. This policy explains what happens to the information you give us anywhere on the site.

We collect information at a few different points on the site, depending on how you use it:

• Creating an account — your name, phone number, email address, and a password. We store your password in hashed form and never see or keep the plain text.
• Placing an order (checkout) — your name, phone number, email address, and delivery address, whether you check out as a guest or while logged in. If you are logged in, we use the name/phone/email already on your account instead of asking again. We also record your chosen payment method (cash on delivery or bank transfer) and, if you provide one, delivery notes.
• Tracking an order — the order number and the phone number or email address you use to look it up. This is only ever matched against the order you already placed; it is not used for anything else.
• Contact form — your name, email address, phone number (optional), and your message.
• Trade account application — company name, contact person, phone, email, NTN (optional), city (optional), the pricing tier you are applying for, and any business details you add.
• Product availability enquiry — when you ask to be notified about an item or ask us a question about it, we record your name, email, phone (optional), your message, and which product or variant you asked about.

We do not collect or store any card or bank account details on this website. Card payments are not currently accepted here; bank transfer orders are confirmed manually by our team, and any account details needed for that are shared with you directly, not entered into the site.

We use Google Analytics on the live website to understand how visitors use our pages — for example which products are viewed most, and whether people are on mobile or desktop. This gives us aggregated statistics such as approximate location, device and browser type, and pages visited. It is not used to identify you personally, and we do not run advertising or re-targeting trackers.

Sign-in, registration, and order-tracking forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot-detection check that runs in the background. Turnstile may look at technical signals about your browser and connection to confirm you are not an automated script; it is operated by Cloudflare, not us, and we only receive a pass/fail result — never anything identifying about you personally from it.

You can block analytics cookies through your browser settings or by using a private or incognito window.

This site uses a small number of cookies and browser-storage entries, each for a specific purpose:

• Sign-in session — if you log in, we set a secure, HttpOnly cookie that keeps you signed in. It cannot be read by any script on the page (including third-party ones) and is only sent back to our own servers.
• Cart— a random cart identifier is kept in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie) so items you add stay in your cart between visits, whether or not you are logged in.
• Analytics — Google Analytics sets its own cookies when enabled, as described in section 3.
• App install / offline support— if you add this site to your home screen or your browser caches it for faster repeat visits, that is handled by your browser’s own service worker storage, not a tracking cookie.

• To create and manage your account, and to keep you signed in.
• To process, confirm, and fulfil orders you place — including calling or messaging you to verify a cash-on-delivery order or confirm a bank transfer before we dispatch it.
• To let you look up the status of an order or delivery you have placed.
• To reply to your enquiry, quote prices, and discuss your requirements.
• To review and approve or decline trade account applications, and to set the correct pricing tier if approved.
• To let you know when an out-of-stock product becomes available again, if you asked us to.
• To keep normal business and accounting records of orders, payments, and dealings with you.
• To improve this website and our product range.

We do not send marketing emails or newsletters from this website, and we do not add you to any mailing list without you asking for it. Order-related emails (such as an order confirmation) are transactional, not marketing.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone. It is shared only where it is necessary to actually run the business:

• Service providers who operate our website hosting, email, security (including Cloudflare, for Turnstile and network protection), and analytics on our behalf.
• Delivery/courier partners, where needed to get an order to you — limited to what is needed to make the delivery (typically your name, phone, and delivery address).
• Our own staff, who use it to respond to you and manage your account or order.
• Government or regulatory authorities, where we are legally required to provide it.

Account, order, and payment-related records are kept for as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal purposes, and to maintain a history of our dealings with you. Enquiries and applications that do not turn into an account or order are kept for as long as they are useful for our business records. If you would like your information removed, contact us using the details below and we will do so unless we are required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.

Information submitted through this website is transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and stored in our internal business system, which is restricted to authorised staff. Account passwords are stored in hashed form only, and your sign-in session is kept in a secure cookie that client-side scripts cannot read. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we take reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete your account and associated details. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Some information (such as completed order and payment records) may need to be kept even after an account is deleted, for accounting or legal reasons. Get in touch using the details in section 12 to make any of these requests.

This website is intended for businesses and adult buyers. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and accounts should only be created by adults. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will remove it.

Our website links to our social media profiles, WhatsApp, and may link to other third-party sites. This policy does not cover those sites — please check their own privacy policies.
